We ask the community to only visit the Emergency Department if you are experiencing a medical emergency or worsening COVID-19 symptoms. If you have been exposed to COVID-19, please do not visit the Emergency Department just for a COVID-19 test. Instead, seek out a community testing site or an at-home test kit.

Redeemer Health offers COVID-19 testing for patients who meet screening criteria and have a valid testing order from their physician. The patient’s health care provider will email a copy of their prescription to our scheduling office. Once received our office will call the patient directly to schedule the test and confirm the date/time of the testing appointment.

We are operating a drive-through test site located in the Redeemer Health and Fitness Center parking lot, 1648 Huntingdon Pike, Meadowbrook, PA. Appointments are scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. Patients will be stopped at a guard booth where an attendant will verify the patient's name and date of birth. The patient will then be directed to proceed to the testing area outside of the trailer and a tester will come out to the car.

Please note that test results are sent to the ordering physician by the lab. The testing center does not receive results.

Patients must be scheduled for a specific time; no unscheduled appointments are permitted. Any Redeemer Health employee who feels they are a candidate for COVID-19 testing should follow protocols and contact their Manager and Occupational Health.
